Cancellation Policy

Client Agreement Services: - Agency provides BSL/English interpreters for events, meetings, or services as booked. - All interpreters are NRCPD-registered and bound by confidentiality. Fees & Payment: - Hourly rate: £[XX] (2-hour minimum). - Half-day (up to 4 hours): £[XXX]. - Full-day (up to 7 hours): £[XXX]. - Travel costs (mileage/public transport) and accommodation (if required) are invoiced in addition. - Payment due within [7] days of invoice. Late payments subject to 5% monthly interest. Cancellations: - Cancellation more than 7 days before event: no fee. - Cancellation 7–2 days before event: 50% fee. - Cancellation less than 48 hours before event: 100% fee. - If interpreter is unavailable due to emergency, Agency will attempt to find a replacement; if a replacement cannot be found, 100% will be returned. Late Notice Bookings: - Bookings requested within 48 hours may incur a late notice surcharge of 20%. Responsibilities of Client: - Provide accurate event details including timings, location, and context. - Ensure working conditions are suitable for interpreters (lighting, seating, breaks for long events). Liability: - Agency is not liable for indirect loss or damages. - Agency holds public liability and professional indemnity insurance. Declaration I confirm I am knowingly enter into this agreement with Talking Hands Interpreting Agency. I confirm I have read and understand the terms of this agreement and agree to the same.
