We are not an agency – we do not charge booking or administration fees. Our role is to connect you directly with fully qualified and trusted interpreters.
All of our interpreters follow the National Union of BSL Interpreters’ guidelines on pricing and professional standards. To request an interpreter, simply complete the form below. If an interpreter accepts the assignment, we will liaise with them to finalise your booking.
Please note that each interpreter has their own terms and conditions, which must be followed once a booking is confirmed. After you submit the form, you will receive a tailored quote based on the hours and details of your request.

The following disclaimers are designed to protect Talking Hands Interpreting Team while we are operating as a voluntary, non-commercial coordination platform connecting qualified British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters with clients. 1. Service Disclaimer
Talking Hands Interpreting Team currently operates as a voluntary coordination service. We do not charge clients or interpreters, and no financial transactions are made through this platform. All interpreting arrangements are made directly between the interpreter and client. We cannot be held responsible for any misunderstandings, cancellations, or issues arising from private agreements.
2. Insurance Disclaimer
As a voluntary initiative, Talking Hands Interpreting Team is not yet insured. Any professional or public liability rests solely with the interpreters and/or the clients who engage their services.
3. Cancellations and Changes
Cancellations or amendments to interpreting arrangements must be agreed upon directly between clients and interpreters. Talking Hands Interpreting Team cannot mediate or enforce cancellation policies or fees.
4. Updates to this Disclaimer
Talking Hands Interpreting Team reserves the right to modify or update these disclaimers at any time without prior notice. Changes will take effect immediately upon being published on this website.
